How much energy does soilkind need?

With soilkind we want to do something for the earth. That's why we designed our composter to be very energy efficient and to use the heat generated during the composting process. In addition, an efficient heat exchanger ensures that the heat required for processing is retained in the device as best as possible and is not lost.

On average, soilkind's energy consumption is around 7-8 kWh per complete composting cycle, including drying the material required for this.

The actual power consumption can vary, as it depends heavily on the amount of water in the kitchen waste being processed. The more water the food contains, the longer the drying time will be!
