Ich nutze meinen soilkind jetzt seit einigen Wochen und ich bin sehr begeistert. Als das Paket ankam, war ich erstmal erstaunt, weil es schon echt schwer und gleichzeitig super smart verpackt war.
Ich habe noch NIE ein Gerät benutzt, dass sich so leicht und schnell mit der App und dem WiFi verbunden hat, was schon mein erstes Highlight war.
Mein Mann und ich leben in Hamburg und wir haben in unserem Viertel leider nur einen Restmüll - also kommen auch alle Bioabfälle dort rein und werden wahrscheinlich verbrannt. soilkind hat mir klar gemacht, wie einfach ich den Biomüll Zuhause verarbeiten kann und wie wertvoll es ist, dass die Nährstoffe im Kreislauf bleiben.
Vor ein paar Jahren hatten wir eine Wurmkiste. Ich fand die Idee toll und die Regenwürmer niedlich. Leider hatten wir nach ein paar Monaten eine Fliegenplage im Haus und es war sehr aufwendig, alles zu beachten, was die Würmchen brauchen.
Bei soilkind gibt es auch ein paar Dinge zu beachten – zum Beispiel hartes oder faseriges Obst oder Gemüse etwas kleiner zu schneiden. Das baue ich aber einfach in meine Kochroutine mit ein und mach das gerne.
Wir kochen viel frisch und vegetarisch und es fällt jeden Tag einiges an. Mein Mann ist ein Coffee-Lover – bestes Futter für unseren Komposter.
Es dauert ein bisschen, bis der Kompost wirklich hergestellt ist, da man erst genug Biomüll sammeln muss, bevor die 48-Stunden-Kompostierung beginnt. Je nachdem, wie viel wir kochen, braucht es 4 bis 7 Tage. Das ist okay, weil derweil der Biomüll verarbeitet und sicher in soilkind gelagert wird. Das Coole: Wenn das Gerät bereits kompostiert, kann man weiterhin Biomüll in die erste Kammer einfüllen. Das finde ich praktisch.
Wir haben jetzt schon einige Zyklen kompostiert. Da wir selbst keinen Garten haben, nutze ich den Kompost für meine Zimmerpflanzen und gebe ihn auch bei uns in der Hausgemeinschaft weiter, was super ankommt.
soilkind ist definitiv eine Investition – eine, die sich meiner Meinung nach lohnt. Unser Küchenalltag ist nachhaltiger, sauberer und ökologischer. Das schätze ich sehr!
Kompost für alle – juhu!!!
Das klingt fantastisch – und sieht sehr bunt aus! Und was für eine schöne Idee, den Kompost in eurer Hausgemeinschaft zu teilen.
Ich bin begeistert von meinem Soilkind! Die App ist äußerst intuitiv und leicht zu bedienen, sodass die Einrichtung und Steuerung des Geräts sehr einfach ist. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, wie schnell der Bio-Abfall geschreddert wird. Innerhalb kürzester Zeit verwandelt der Soilkind die Abfälle in nährstoffreiche Komposterde.
Lediglich der Pflanzenguide in der App könnte noch erweitert werden.
Ein kleiner Hinweis: Beim Zerkleinern der Abfälle macht das Gerät zwar hörbare Geräusche, aber das ist absolut vertretbar, wenn man bedenkt, wie effizient und nachhaltig es arbeitet.
Insgesamt ein tolles Produkt, das ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann – ein echter Gewinn für uns.

Wir haben den Soilkind nun seit ca 4 Wochen im Einsatz. Er läuft sehr zuverlässig, lediglich 1 mal neues Onboarden aufgrund von WLAN Verlust. Die Geräusche waren uns in der Küche zu laut, daher Keller!
Danke für das Teilen deiner Erfahrung. Und ja, in soilkind wird kräftig gearbeitet, manchmal kann es etwas lauter werden. Toll, dass soilkind einen gute Platz in eurem Keller gefunden hat.
